Sauteed Vegetables

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 sliced carrots 
  • 1 zucchini 
  • 1 yellow squash 
  • 1/2 red bell pepper 
  • 2 Tbsp SOW CHIA OIL 
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil 
  • 1/8 tsp dried oregano 
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder 
  • Salt 
  • Fresh cracked black pepper 
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional) 

 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Heat the pan over medium-high heat and add the chia oil until the surface is covered. Sauté the carrots for about 2-3 minutes. 
  1. Next, add the bell pepper, zucchini, squash, basil, oregano and garlic powder. Sauté for 2-3 more minutes, or until the vegetables begin to soften.
  1. Remove the pan from the heat, season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley just before serving
