Chia Mocha Coffee Smoothie


  • 1 cup frozen coffee ‘ice cubes’ – about 12 ounces coffee
  • 1/2 cup SOW Chocolate Chia Milk (or you can freeze into ‘ice cubes’)
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen slices)
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder—plant protein like pea or pumpkin seed, or whey, or your preferred collagen powder
  • A couple teaspoons of maple syrup, simple syrup, monk fruit sweetener or your preferred sweetener (optional)
  • Ice (for desired texture or if not making cubes

1. To the blender: add the chia milk and coffee ice cubes, then the fruit, followed by the protein powder.
2.  Add sweetener to your desired level. Blend well, until smooth and frosty.
3. Adjust consistency by adding more ice or chia milk. You can further adjust sweetness to taste.
 4. Pour into a glass and for a garnish, grate some dark chocolate over the smoothie with a microplane.
