SOW - Seeds of Wellness® took part in Natural Products Expo West, the biggest trade fair for natural and organic products in the United States.
It was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. 2700 exhibitors and more than 57,000 visitors took part.
This fair´s objective is to show the latest trends and innovations in world natural food and drink ingredients.
SOW Seeds of Wellness® Chia milks stood out among the exhibitors for being innovative and sustainable.
Chia milk was presented for the first time in Natural Products Expo West 2022.
It was incredibly well received, not only for being an excellent dairy alternative but also as the first chia plant-based milk. It has more dietary fiber, more plant-based protein and fewer calories than the majority of the milk alternatives on the market.
Dr. Wendy Bazilian, DrPH, RDN, author of Eat Clean, Stay Lean series (Rodale), also took part in a meet & greet with attendees about the benefits of chia milk and its uses.
The natural and organic product industry grew by US$274 billion in 2021 (7.7%) with a projection of US$400 billion towards 2030 according to New Hope Network’s Nutrition Business Journal.
This is mainly due to the change in consumer habits and care for the planet.
