Cauliflower pizza crust

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 steamed cauliflower head
  • 7oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, vegan cheese or tofu
  • 3.5oz. Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
  • 4 tbsp. natural tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup (80 g) chia flour
  • Salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder and oregano to taste
  • 1 tbsp. SOW CHIA OIL
  • 1 cup arugula

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Break the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until fine.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower with the mozzarella, parmesan, oregano, salt, garlic powder and CHIA FLOUR. Transfer to the center of the baking sheet and spread into a circle, resembling a pizza crust.
  4. Coat the crust with the chia oil, using your hands or a brush. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Add tomato sauce, arugula and your desired toppings and bake an additional 10 minutes.
